I'm a French-Canadian. Was just under 30 when I started this website.
I chose to publish a blog that would tell the story of my trip around the world to keep my writing skills alive, to keep myself from escaping to much. Just enough. To give some news also. And why not, to help people that would like to embark on some crazy adventures like me.
I don't speak mandarin, arabic or portuguese. I cannot make a sound in dutch, can barely make my way around in spanish. I am not rich, I'm not pretending I can change the world either. But I'm craving for some discoveries.
And one day, a young man that had too much wisdom in him for his young age helped me open my eyes. "Stop being scared, take some risks and accept the fact you can't always control everything. Go where life carries you."
Him, his life, it stopped carrying him... I understood that everything could end.
I jumped. Six months and a half in a sabbatic. Preparation that is worth what it's worth. Confidence in my hability to find solutions for everything.
In the end, it worked out. This blog is the proof everybody can do it. And I decided to keep the writing skills alive. So stay tuned.
