About the project

Tranzalpine Scenic Train in New Zealand
As a journalist, before I left for my round-the-world trip, I spent six years gathering mindblowing stories of people repeating : you just need to try and to  move forward. They traveled the world, changed the way their field of expertise would work because of their audacity, they crossed deserts one thought they would be unable to beat. And I was kind of jealous.

I spent those  six years traveling, each time I would get some time off work, and meeting people that had be gone for two, five, fifteen months, just going around he globe. My adventure spirit started to itch. But with my work, I couldn't...

Why not, I told myself waking up one morning. Because it's never too late, I put one foot in front of the other. I started, beggining of 2012, my own conquest of a world already explored thousands of times by younger, richer, older, more experimented folks. Mais on top of diving in south-american, australian, asian and european cultures, I kept my eyes peeled for the genie of people so different but so alike at the same time.

I wasn't the first one, and certainly not the last one, to feel emotions in front of the Sydney Opera House, Angkor Wat or Iguazu Falls, and I wanted to share my experience with the world.

It was just the beggining of an adventure that, I hope, will keep on going for a long time.
